Chris O'Shaughnessy


Chris has 23years extensive experience in the creative industry, with a comprehensive, award-winning design portfolio that ranges from logo identity, print, direct mail, advertising, promotions, web design and motion graphics.

Now specialized in brand strategy and has been responsible for the name generation, design and management of some of the largest branding projects in his profession, spanning different disciplines, different agencies and different markets.

This entailed carried out significant design projects for a variety of international clients for the Financial Services and Telecommunications Sectors in Europe and North America. In doing so, his work has targeted both the business and retail markets.

Working in Canada with clients such HSBC Bank, he played this role in the re-branding of HSBC to the Canadian market. Because HSBC was a virtual unknown to the general Canadian public, this involved a brand strategy that deployed the highest standards of communication across all media. His Canadian executions have lead creative thinking world-wide, and have been adopted by HSBC as global best practices.

Over the years he has worked with and won international recognized creative awards for a large range of local and international clients. Some of these clients include, Shell Canada, AT@T, HSBC Bank, Johnson & Johnson, Irish Government Department of Finance, Canadian Cancer Society, Cadbury Adams, B.Braun, Hospital for Sick Kids, Irish Medicines Board (Ireland), American Podiatric Medical Association, Walmart, Royal Canadian Yacht Club, Shaw Media (Showcase TV), Tim Hortons, Nortel, Irish Life Plc, University of Toronto and Lucent Technologies.
